Great Race 2008

The Great Race marks the centennial of one of the most remarkable motorsports events of the 20th century — an auto race around the world from New York to Paris in 1908, before today’s highways and fuel stations. In a re-run of that milestone event, the 2008 Great Race will depart New York City on 30 May 2008 and travel 35,000 km to Paris and finish on 2 August.
Note: Bill Ewing, CEO of Great Race Sports, regretfully informed participants that the Great Race 2008: New York to Paris has been postponed as the approval to travel through China has been recalled and the permits have been placed on hold. Updates to follow.

Louis Vuitton Classic China Run 2008

The 2008 Louis Vuitton Classic China Run will take place in China, ten years after the first China Run. From May 23rd to June 1st, 45 classic cars will compete between Chengdu in Sichuan province to Kunming in Yunnan province.
