I can't imagine choosing sand over hard road, but remind me not to rent a vehicle that has previously been rented by your guest columnist. I was going to write some advice to your leader- tell him to pet the other end- until I noticed the word "adjacent". Still, it's hard to figure out how he could have gotten kicked that way.

The trip looks like great fun for you guys, and it seems like you're all having alot of fun. The pictures are beautiful and the journal entries are very interesting. It sure sounds like you're all sharing some great once in a lifetime experiences. We just wanted to wish you a safe and enjoyable trip, and a safe return home as well. The trip itinerary looks terrific. A great opportunity to see a fascinating part of the world. Ellen and are vacationing. She in CA and me in FL. We're getting along great.
