Hi Dad and Jim. Great job on the first half...you are still in the running for a bronze. How'd you lose the silver getting to Tyumen? United airlines lost my bag when I flew to CA on 1 June and it's not yet been recovered; an agent today joked that it could be in Siberia by now. Please have a look around for a wheeled duffel containing a wetsuit. Much luck...

MacGyver Nelan to the rescue. Love the raccoon eyes in the picture. Hope you get some rest soon. I'll think of a new name for sum ting wong when you get to Paris!

HI Jim,
This sounds like the most grueling of any trip you've ever taken!!! Congratulations for hanging in. Don't know if you've heard, but the basketbal finals are 3-0; San Antonio Spurs are killing the Cleveland Caveliers. Much love, Peggy

Hi, Fred and Jim...Your mention of the potholes created a flashback. Remember the road in South America, just out of Huancayo ...we were promised good asphalt, no one mentioned the pothole obstacle course, some of them 8 feet across. See you in Paris!
