Got up at 7am to get the little man to school on time with completed homework. Had a hectic day at work and finished at 6.30 pm. Hospital food for dinner and a bacon butty for tea. Bath and bed. Just thought you would like a comparison. My only consolation is that as Eric comes home to work I now have two weeks off and I am going to play in the park with a day trip at Scarborough. I am sure you have all had a wonderful adventure and thankyou again for sharing it. Save journey and a happy life to you all. Eric's missuss.

Today was a super drive through the conical hills of Guillin. What an enchanting land, each range of these extraordinary hills recedes into the mist, encircled by others - they drift off into the distance like Oxford's 'Dreaming Spires'...and leave us in wonderland. We are almost at the end of our life-changing trip... whatever shall we do with ourselves after all this? Siberia? Antarctic? Gobi Desert...? Perhaps there are venues after all. Watch this space All best to everyone Kit

Hi Jim Have just caught up with your reports from China and Tibet. Sounds like a brilliant trip and a great area to visit. Looks like there are just as many adventures as we all had in S America on the Inca Trail. Please give our love and best wishes to Inca Trailers. Good luck for the rest of the trip.
