Gods speed to you both. I can't imagine trying to solve the radiator problem in a different garage every night. It would be challenging enough if you could keep it at one shop for a week. Have a great trip and a great time. --Jeff Rodengen

Hi Jim, Fred and all other "China heroes". I keep following your journal and can only repeat what I said earlier. All of you guys are real troopers and deserve a medal for doing HK to BJ "against all odds"!! Safe trip and healthy travels always! Best from Germany, Jurgen

Dear Jim and Fred, wear gas mask while you are driving on the road. This will protect you from air pollution. ha ha..... have fun! Take care and drive safely!

Hi, Jim and Fred, just had time to catch up with the journal. The storys are so interesting. Keep going and good luck with the car. By the way, the Chinese word for beer is "Pi Jiou", and the famous brand for beer in China is "Qing Dao". Miller, Sharon and Kevin

Hey Chicken Man! I was thinking after reading your colorful emails, and I think I found a name for the Buick. To quote the great Kenny Croucher...Sum Ting Wong!
